From the South
Leave the A1 joining the A68 (at junction 58). Turn left at the roundabout just after Firtree onto the A689 and pass through Wolsingham, Frosterley, Stanhope and Eastgate, until arriving in the village of Westgate where the park is located on the left hand side.
From the East
From the A1 take the A690 to Crook. After leaving Crook at the roundabout, take the A689 passing through Wolsingham, Frosterley, Stanhope and Eastgate until arriving in the village of Westgate where the park is located on the left-hand side.
From the North
From the A1 take the A69 towards Hexham. Turn left at the Roundabout onto the A68 (signposted Darlington), turn right at the B6278 to Edmundbyers and Stanhope. At the T-junction in Stanhope turn right onto the A689 (signposted Killhope Mine). Travel out of Stanhope, through Eastgate and up to the village of Westgate where the park is located on the left hand side.
From the West
Approximately 20 miles Alston follow the A689 through Nenthead, Lanehead, Cowshill, Wearhead, Ireshopeburn, St Johns Chapel and Daddry Sheild you will then arrive in the village of Westgate.
